Introducing...

Today marks the launch of a subsidiary of this blog called Ruminations and Reflections. I've been kicking this idea around for a little while about just having a blog dedicated to quotes, verses, and sayings that inspire me or that I find useful or helpful. As I collect all these little papers and notecards with these things on them, I've been finding that I want a repository to collect them all, more for my own benefit, but I thought I would share it with the world at large as well :).

If you run across a great quote, verse, or saying, head over to Ruminations and Reflections and post away in the comments, or email them to me and I will post it on there.

Happy 2009 everyone!

A Couple Quotes

I love quotes (if you couldn't tell from my sidebar) and I've run into these few the past couple of days and love them and wanted to share them:

"What is the hardest task in the world? To Think." ~ Ralph Waldo Emerson

"Our dilemma is that we hate change and love it at the same time; what we really want is for things to remain the same but get better." ~ Sydney J. Harris

"I don't have an ego - I just love how awesome I am" ~ $0.99 Taco Bell commercial

And hooray, it is Lost night!!
